Friday Alpine Nights (Winter)

Friday nights from 5pm-9pm. Come in for a sit down meal at The Cheese Traveler and enjoy the flavors of the Alps, flavors that are both hearty and heart-warming, savory and sweet, with wintery cheeses melted to perfection.

Every second, third, fourth, and fifth Fridays from now until April. The next evenings available are 2/10, 2/17, 2/24; 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31. Seating is limited.

MAIN COURSE

“Build-Your-Own” Raclette Plate | $12+

The showstopper of the night. Gooey Raclette cheese melted over potatoes fried in duck fat, braised onions, cornichons, and wine-brushed baguette. Choose from a list of premium charcuterie to build your own custom dish. (GF) (V potatoes fried in olive oil)

Jasper Hill Harbison Gratin | $30 – serves two people

A cheesemonger’s take on potatoes au gratin. A wheel of the spruce-wrapped Vermont vacheron-style cheese is hollowed out and filled with layers of wafer-thin potatoes, Benton’s bacon-onion braise, and Harbison (recently named best American cheese at the World Cheese Champion, November 2016). A layer of bubbly cheese sits atop this baked dish. Accompanied by pickled cabbage and wine-brushed baguette. Serves 2. (GF)
